U.S. Citizenship

Being a U.S. citizen will give you many privileges such as the right to vote in presidential elections and having a U.S. passport. You can sponsor your immediate relatives: parents, spouses and minor unmarried children, allowing them to obtain U.S. lawful permanent resident status without waiting for a visa, among many other benefits.

NATURALIZATION

If you have been a lawful permanent resident for at least five years and also meet some important additional requirements, you may be eligible for U.S. citizenship. If you are lawful permanent resident and married to a U.S. citizen, you may be eligible for U.S. citizenship in three years.

At LFK Immigration, we help you prepare a solid application to ensure that your citizenship application is granted quickly and fairly.

If you have obstacles that could stand in the way of becoming a U.S. citizen, such as criminal convictions or having spent too much time outside the U.S., we can analyze these problems and create strategies to help you overcome any adverse factors in your application.

CITIZENSHIP THROUGH PARENTS

There are two general ways to obtain citizenship through parents who are U.S. citizens: one at birth and one after birth, but before 18 years of age.

We have extensive experience in this area and can help you to apply for a Certificate of Citizenship, a U.S. Passport, or, for foreign-born children, a Consular Report of Birth Abroad.
